The Dan and Margaret Maddox Charitable Fund is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary or education purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. The purpose of the Charitable Fund is to make grants to charitable, religious, scientific, literary or education organizations exempt from taxation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Code, other than private foundations (i.e., only to publicly supported charities), and governmental units within the meaning of Section 170(c)(1) of the Code, for the benefit of Middle Tennessee.
